With our free eLibrary you can download and borrow a wide range of digital media such as eBooks, ePapers, eMusic, eAudios and eVideos.

Our collection contains over 1090 titles on digital formats (DVD and blue ray). The films can be rented for non-commercial screenings by cinematheques, film clubs, film festivals, and other cultural and educational institutions. Please note that the standard is PAL – you would need a multistandard DVD-player.  

Our translation funding program supports the publication of books by German authors in another language.

The Goethe-Institut supports professional exchange between German and American librarians and information specialists.
