Promote Your Community Project and Receive a Scholarship for a German Course at the Goethe-Institut

Whether you’re passionate about organising a German-inspired cake sale, hosting a board game night in German, or initiating a lively “Stammtisch”, this is your chance to shine and enhance your language skills. The steps to participate are simple and rewarding:  

Step 1: Choose a community project and complete the application form

Think about a project that inspires you, contributes to your community or has a connection to German. It could be an event like “Yoga in German”, a cultural gathering like a “German Book Club”, or a talk at your local school about your German language journey. Once you have your idea, please proceed by completing the application form.

Step 2: Promote your community project 

Congratulations! If your project is chosen, it’s time to kickstart the activities. We will help you spread the word about your community project to reach the widest possible audience. 

Step 3: Learn German for free 

As you successfully promote and execute your community project, you will receive a scholarship for a German language course.  

Step 4: Share your experience 

Inspire others by giving a short talk or video testimonial on why you would recommend learning a new language.
