Shy and sensitive Clemens starts a new job as a masseur in a wellness hotel. He becomes acquainted with various essential oils, massage techniques and methods to relieve tension while being polite and diffident. Lara has been working in the hotel for a while. She labours in the kitchen, an altogether tougher environment. The main thing she’s learned here: what doesn’t kill you makes you stronger. No one can do her any harm. Or so it seems. (Alcohol helps.) In spite of their difference personalities, they become a couple. Brash and reckless, Lara constantly dares Clemens to break the rules until he dares her to face her own dark secret.
