The Swiss journalist, writer and photographer, Annemarie Schwarzenbach, was a restless traveller, fascinated more by Persia than by any other country. In her stories written in the style of diary entries, she writes about the vast and empty landscape, a vastness and emptiness that seem to grow within her as well. Her love affair with another woman ends tragically.
