The play – Grillparzer in a Porn Shop – is based on Love Boutique, a play by Willard Manus. In this particular love boutique – a decrepit porn shop – a customer meets a grumpy salesman who has little time for women. And yet, the encounter in the most unfavourable circumstances imaginable, is the start of a relationship between two people who eventually end up throwing prejudice overboard.
