Although now retired, former inspector Jakob Franck still brings family members news of a death. Greatly affected by the murder of an 11-year-old boy, he devotes himself to solving the case using his technique of ‘thought sensitivity’: evidence, witness statements, crime scene and other details are observed and analysed until he is able to piece together the puzzle.
