Sheena Maria Piedade
Sheena Maria Piedade is an artist, independent curator, and art psychotherapist exploring the tension between presence and disembodiment—how art and nature ground us while technology pulls us away. Her work intersects DIY culture, publishing, ecology, and sociocultural phenomena, focusing on making community care accessible through nature, permaculture, play, and embodiment. Deeply invested in reclaiming time, attention, and the body from capitalist forces, she weaves personal and political narratives using visual and oral archives. She has exhibited at India Art Fair, Serendipity Arts Festival, and St+art Mumbai. Sheena also teaches neuroscience and mindfulness and curates LOVER, an independent publication and collector’s museum.
