Topics ranged from wild vegetable cultivation and vermi briquettes to seed selection and millet diversity. Their insights underscored the importance of safeguarding local agricultural heritage.

Interactive storytelling by the Gram Art Project and sessions led by the Organic Farming Association of India spotlighted grassroots efforts to preserve seeds. A mini-exhibition by the NGC for Plant Resources offered a glimpse of India’s seed diversity. Together, they emphasized how seed conservation secures genetic variety for future generations.

A presentation on the Fergusson College Botanical Garden by the Deccan Education Society showcased its educational and conservation roles. A poetry recital celebrated the bond between people and nature. A wild seed mini-exhibition organized by Oikos for Ecological Services highlighted the ecological need to protect native species.
