On 23rd of March 2021, Goethe-Institut / Max Mueller Bhavan Kolkata will be conducting a workshop on the topic “Girls, School, Inclusion”. This session, which is part of a series of workshops held every month for German language teachers of East- and North-East India, is an individual and collective reflective workshop for teachers to think about inclusion for girls and women in the school context.
The intention of the workshop is:
- to create a safe space to have conversations about the importance of inclusion for women in the school context
- to rethink possibilities of inclusive spaces for women in the - classroom, infirmary / health care, teaching curriculum, extra-curricular activities and various other spaces
- to collectively create a book of skills and strategies that support inclusivity for women in the school context
- to build stronger connections between the teachers
Mental Health experts Ms. Trishala Kanakia and Ms. Shaneel Mukerji will be conducting the workshop.
