Travelling Plants is a transdisciplinary project curated by Lina Vincent and led by Goethe-Institut Chennai, in collaboration with Alliance Française of Madras and Institut Français de Pondichéry (IFP). In New Delhi, the exhibition is being shown with FICA Reading Room and is accompanied by an exciting side programme, featuring a symposium, workshop, foraging walk, and more.
The symposium, Field Notes for a Future Commons, will bring together key conversants in the field of contemporary art and creative practices, imagined as an activation in response to these enquiries, opening up a space of dialogue across artistic, ecological, and site-specific perspectives.
The workshop extends into a collective process of listening, recording, and reimagining. Beginning with a walk at Mehrauli Archaeological Park and ending at FICA. As a participant, you are requested to bring your laptops/ipads and a pair of earphones as you will be working with sound.
