As part of the Bookaroo – Festival of Children’s Literature to be held on June 28th and 29th 2019 at the Taktse International School Gangtok, Goethe-Institut / Max Mueller Bhavan Kolkata presents two interactive sessions for children to engage, discover and explore the world of art, and books!

The sessions are curated by Ruchira Das of ThinkArts, an organisation dedicated to bringing imaginative experiences for children and young people through an engagement with the arts:

Journey with Michael Ende’s lovely character, Momo, as she travels beyond the boundaries of time with the help of Professor Hora and his strange tortoise, Cassiopeia, to resist the sinister Men in Grey.

Look at Art
Location: The Studio
Age group: 6-8
Time: 11 am

Did you know that the great artist, Paul Klee loved cats so much that several of his paintings feature them? Join us to discover more about the artist and make your own Klee inspired artwork.

Ruchira Das wears many hats but she loves the ThinkArts hat the most since it allows her to create and explore imaginative experiences for children through the arts.
