Volume of employment: 40 hours/month
We are looking for a dedicated colleague for our PASCH Social Media Accounts for South Asia with immediate effect.
The position is limited to 31st December 2024 with the possibility of extension.
Responsibilities:
- Ideating and planning social media campaigns for the PASCH social media channel for South Asia
- Planning and creating appealing, relevant content (events, competitions etc.), taking into account the existing social media strategy
- Creating content/editorial plans
- Communication and coordination with the PASCH coordinators of the Goethe-Instituts in South Asia regarding the provision of image, video and text material
- Organising and conducting the bi-weekly PASCH Social Media meeting for South Asia
- Attending Social Media meetings as required
- Managing and maintaining the PASCH South Asia profiles on various social media channels
- Active interaction and engagement with the community through comments and messages as needed
- Reporting on the performance and success of social media activities
Requirements:
- Proven experience in social media management
- Relevant experience and adept scope with web-based platforms for graphic design (e.g. Canva)
- Sound understanding of different social media platforms and their algorithms
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
- Very good command of German language preferred
- Creativity in content creation and strategy development
- Ability to work in a team as well as independently and proactively
