In this workshop, we will start with the simple things and from them, carry on an exploration of the secrets of the world–– especially our own secrets. Documentation is not just text: in this era of material plenitude, our archives are also the objects we own, use, and throw away. They are the testimony and record of our relationship with this world. But we seek to look beyond things in their simple facticity, toward the unknown or uncanny dimensions awaiting discovery, and toward their unfolding into realms beyond. Through this theatre workshop we come together to share knowledge, emotions, and imaginations, leading to different perspectives on life today, the environment, and the material world. This awareness may help to provide some defence against the casual forgetting and greedy aggression that fill our daily life.
