About Virtual Salon:

Virtual Salon is an initiative of the Goethe-Institut Pune and the Alliance Française de Pune that offers artists and creatives a platform to showcase their work, discover the work of others, and hence build a network for future collaborations. On a biweekly basis, the Virtual Salon opens its doors to a guest-speaker and a musical guest who share stories and anecdotes of their work over the course of an open interview.

About our Guests:

Rupali Bhave is the co-creator of “The Box”, Pune's first black-box theatre. She works as a Program Manager with SMART - Strategic Management in the Art of Theatre - a program that aims to enable theatre organisations to thrive. She is a translator, an author, a voice actor, and a storyteller.

Rishiraj Kulkarni is a multi-percussionist. His primary instrument being the tabla, which he has been playing for over the last 17 years, he also plays the handpan, steel tongue drum, Maschine (hardware/ software DAW), marimba, xylophone, and vibraphone to name a few. Over the years he has collaborated with artists from various art forms such as illustrators, painters, poets, singers, ballet dancers, western classical orchestras and Indian classical musicians, performing across Europe and India.
