Techno Worlds

As a global phenomenon, techno has not only shaped music history, but has also set impulses that influence contemporary culture, art, pop culture, media consumption, and technologies.

Beginning in May 2022, TECHNO WORLDS, an exhibition at the intersection of music, art, pop, media, and technology in relation to the multifaceted techno scene, will travel across North America, with stops in Montreal, New York, Boston, and Los Angeles.

The Exhibition

TECHNO WORLDS includes photo, video and installation works by DeForrest Brown, Jr., Jaqueline Caux, Tony Cokes, Chicks on Speed, Zuzanna Czebatul, Kerstin Greiner, AbuQadim Haqq, Rangoato Hlasane, Ryõji Ikeda, Maryam Jafri, Romuald Karmakar, Robert Lippok, Henrike Naumann and Bastian Hagedorn, Carsten Nicolai, Vinca Petersen, Daniel Pflumm, Lisa Rovner, Sarah Schönfeld, Jeremy Shaw as well as Tobias Zielony. TECHNO WORLDS was curated by Mathilde Weh, Justin Hoffmann and Creamcake. The Idea

TECHNO WORLDS references diverse techno scenes, genres and subcultural-political projects at different times and in different places around the world.
