Description

Attendees will meet Cindy Adjei and Marcel Saemin Hopp who are two of the three authors of "Power of Color - a Podcast about Perspectives, Experiences and Topics of BIPoCs, Stories of Migration and Diverse Communities in the Post-migrant German Society".

Cindy Adjei, Marcel Saemin Hopp, and their co-author, Melis Yeter, address questions of belonging and (multiple) identities, various forms of racism, experiences of exclusion and discrimination, and  the fundamental question of where the German post-migrant society is heading.

Panelists

Cindy Adjei is a student of American Studies and German Literature at Humboldt University Berlin. She is planning to work as an editor in a German publishing house to promote voices of BIPoC authors in German literature and fiction.

Marcel Saemin Hopp holds a master degree in German Literature, History, and Educational Science from Humboldt University Berlin. He is a teacher of German, history, politics, and ethics in a secondary school in Berlin-Neukölln.  Since 2017 he has been a liaison teacher for the students at his school.
