Panchatantra is an old Indian collection of stories spread over a series of five books. The beauty of this series lies in the wide range of themes and topics it talks about, including those of politics, neeti shastra and management. Despite its Indian origins, Panchatantra is no longer limited to India’s regional languages. Its translated versions have made a unique place for themselves all over the world.
In this seminar you will translate the German Version of a story into Marathi in Groups. Later you all will present your stories and discuss about the experience of translating the story from German into Marathi.
