Do you need certification or a diploma for work, study or a visa? Would you like to know the level of your German knowledge?
There are numerous internationally recognised proficiency exams available through our Institute.

Generally, the 3-G rule applies for participation in all face-to-face activities, in this case, examinations, at the Goethe-Institut Bangalore.

In order to participate in a face-to-face exam, you must therefore be either:

  • Geimpft (Vaccinated) with full vaccination protection by one of the vaccines recognized in India
  • Genesen (Recovered) from a Covid-19 infection no longer than 6 months ago and for which you can provide medical evidence
  • Getestet (Tested) by way of an RT-PCR test, not older than 72 hours.
Please be sure to follow the 3-G rule. For your safety, for the protection of others, and due to legal requirements, we cannot admit you to exams without proof of one of the 3-Gs.

We are happy to inform you that the next exams will be held in February 2022.

Note: We are adhering to limited seats per day to ensure a safe environment for our visitors and our staff.

Registration process:

Please note that candidates who have received an admission to a university or have a job offer in a German-speaking country, or have applied for a VISA along similar lines will be allotted a seat on priority. Such candidates are required to attach the necessary supporting documents in the registration mail for processing.
Candidates without these supporting documents may also apply, and seats will be allotted later based on availability.

ONLY the students who have been allotted a confirmed seat will be informed via email within 5 working days.
