We are there for you, even though the institute remains closed for visitors. You can book an online course, and attend multifaceted cultural programmes in online-format.

All examinations have been postponed until further notice. Language department is available on the numbers +91 9836022993 / 9836183480 (Monday to Friday between 10 am – 6 pm).

Library will remain closed till further notice. Members can however send their request for borrowing media per e-mail library-kolkata@goethe.de and pick up the material at the gate, on the specific date and time allotted to them. The borrowed items can be returned at the gate from Tuesday to Friday, 11:00 am – 1:00 pm and 3:00 pm – 5:00 pm every week.

Hooghly Heritage Hub

This project is a program organised by EUNIC (European National Institutes of Culture) in India on creating awareness on cultural heritage and Indo-European histories in the area. It is an initiative to create awareness on cultural heritage and the Indo-European histories along the river Hooghly, West Bengal.

Residency Project
Indo-European Residency

In 2021, for the first time, the residency is being organised on a digital platform, thus ensuring that the residency takes place notwithstanding the prevailing COVID situation. The names of the selected artists have been announced.
