Theatre Worskhop Conducted by Corinne Jaber

An intensive 10-day workshop exploring the theme of the partition.
The aim of the workshop is not only to work on the theme, but also to put together a creative cast with whom the production of the play will be staged.
Participants are going to be asked to bring at least one story related to the theme. The story can be of any kind, personal or fictional. They will also be asked to be familiar with all the facts related to the Partition. If they feel the need to research or specialize in a particular element of the Partition beforehand then they are very welcome to do so.
Through the workshop the stories are going to be explored in a variety of ways, working on improvisation and storytelling, sound, movement and music. Each participant will also be given small research work to be conducted on their own or in small groups during the workshop.
The workshop will attempt to find a theatrical form, which can contain the stories.
The workshop is open to actors, writers, musicians with professional experience only. Participants will be selected on prior applications only.
