After the virtual reality experience of The Metamorphosis, where the spectator gets a chance to become Gregor Samsa for a few minutes, we conclude our five-day long experience lounge with a reading of Kafka.
Albert Camus once said "The whole of Kafka's art consists in compelling the reader to re-read him." But what makes anyone read Kafka in the first place? Is it the world that he creates that resembles our dreams and nightmares; or his characters that remind us of the people we know? Perhaps it is all of it together. The best way to find out is to read him.

Excerpts from Letters to Milena, his diaries and short stories as well as some fragments from his unfinished works curated by Nikhil Katara and Himali Kothari.
The students of German Department, University of Mumbai will read excerpts from Das Schloss:
Aditi Patil- German
Disha Palkar – Marathi
Isha Thosar- English
Co-ordinated by Dr. Anvaya Sardesai
Marathi translation of Das Scholss is rendered by Krishna Kimbahune.
