Boston University Graduate Program in Arts Administration @ Goethe
This spring, Goethe-Institut Boston cooperates with Boston University Graduate Program in Arts Administration on a student-curated exhibition under the mentorship of BU Senior Lecturer Lauren O'Neal. This is part of a program in which the Goethe-Institut shares its beautiful space and cultural programming expertise with curation projects from the community.

Where Are We From and Where Do We Go? in which New England-based artists explore the deeply personal terrain of heritage, delving into the emotions it stirs—the acts of love rendered through tradition, the ache of longing for a homeland left behind, and the communal bonds of culture and care.
In the intricate tapestry of our heritage lies a profound narrative of love, grief, and the enduring connections that bind us together. Heritage is not simply a matter of lineage; it is a rich mosaic of traditions, memories, and shared experiences. Through acts of love and service, we honor the legacies of those who came before us, preserve cultural rituals and narratives that define our sense of belonging, and strive to build an inclusive and connected for those who come after us. New England-based artists in Where Are We From and Where Do We Go? explore the deeply personal terrain of heritage, delving into the emotions it stirs—the acts of love rendered through tradition, the ache of longing for a homeland left behind, and the communal bonds of culture and care.
