From March 21-23, the Goethe-Institut will host the conference
Startklar – Fremdsprachenlernen in der Zukunft (
Foreign language learning in the future) in Berlin, discussing technologies, methodologies and learning environments that will define the future of learning. We want to bring representatives of international think tanks together for panel discussions, workshops and exchange.
In preparation for the conference, we are holding a workshop at the Goethe-Institut New York to discuss developments and research in the US. The workshop will use creative techniques to discuss and form ideas that will later be presented at the conference.
Do you work in education, the creative technology industry or in digital technology research? Are you interested in how we learn and teach in the years to come or are you simply full of ideas for what the future of learning looks like? Then you should join the discussion.
One of the participants will have the opportunity to travel to the conference in Berlin and join the panel of international participants to discuss the ideas crafted in the workshops. The Goethe-Institut will pay for your stay in Berlin including a maximum of 4 nights in a hotel, airfare, airport transportation and public transport in Berlin, 120€ for meals and leisure.
Availability for the conference would be ideal, but is not necessary to participate in the workshop. Please send a registration email including a short paragraph about yourself and why you would like to be part of the workshop to
