Weekend German course in the federal city of Bonn

As part of the Europanetzwerk Deutsch programme, the Goethe-Institut invites EU officials from the EU institutions in Brussels and Luxembourg and ministerial officials from the Permanent Representations of the EU Member States to the EU to a weekend German course on the topic of
"75 Years of Freedom, Peace and Democracy in Germany" from 24 to 26 May in the federal city of Bonn.
In addition to language course units, the programme includes meetings with experts and representatives from the fields of politics and justice. You will also take part in the democracy festival to mark the 75th anniversary of the German Basic Law.
In the run-up to the course, selected course participants will be invited to the EU Liaison Office of the German Bundestag on Thursday, 16 May in preparation for the opening of the "1000& 1 Wish" exhibition. This is a project commissioned by the Art Advisory Council of the German Bundestag on the subject of "Fundamental Rights". Artist Barbara Wrede has created an art project that explores the themes of freedom and dignity.

Course dates: Friday noon, 24 May from 14:00 to Sunday afternoon, 26 May approx. 15:00
Course location: Gustav-Stresemann-Institut, Langer Grabenweg 68, 53175 Bonn
Services: Course units, two overnight stays and meals. Please cover the costs of travelling to and from the course and any entrance fees individually.

kick-off meeting will take place digitally for all course participants on Wednesday, 15 May from 5:30 - 7:00 pm via Zoom.
