Manmeet Sandhu © Manmeet Sandhu © Manmeet Sandhu Mahila Zine was conceptualized by Manmeet Sandhu and Shrabani Dasgupta; the first issue came out in August 2018.
Manmeet is a Delhi based artist whose interest lies in assemblages, urban interventions and sequential art. She is presently pursuing her Ph.D in Fine Arts from the University of Delhi.
Shrabani is an artist and graphic designer who loves sequential art and printmaking. Based in Delhi, she presently teaches in a reputed design institution.
They also have an artist collective called Vichar K Achaar and between them have published around 6 zines and have exhibited at India Comix Fest (2018), Mumbai, Noida and New Delhi and Gaysi Zine Bazaar, Goethe-Institut / Max Mueller Bhavan, New Delhi, 2019.

Mahila-Zine © Manmeet Sandhu © Manmeet Sandhu Mahila is a women-oriented Zine published thrice a year by an artist collective called Vichar k Achaar. The Zine attempts to be a collection of different voices, narratives, montages from amongst women, women artists and/or individuals who associate with the female gender. Primarily visual, the aim is to create a sustaining space for women artists to freely share their perspective on a range of issue from personal to social, political and so on. Mahila zine is a self-published initiative, wherein contributions are invited in the form of artworks, visual stories, posters, photographs and so on, from women/women artists from diverse backgrounds and age groups. Artists Gunjan Singhal, Reshma Khatoon and Varnita Sethi collaborating with Vichar k Achaar on the first three issues of the zine.
