Niloufar Behin Photo: Goethe-Institut Korea/OZAK Niloufar Behin studied translation and interpretation of the German language at Azad University in Tehran. After graduating in 1995, she continued to educate herself through various continuing education and postgraduate studies, especially in the field of German-language children's and youth literature. In her theoretical work she has treated among other things gender construction in literature and media for children and young adults as well as works by Mira Lobe and Christine Nöstlinger.

In addition to her work as a translator from German to Iranian, she has been working since 1992 on the publication of audiobooks at the Ershad Library in Teheran. Niloufar Behin lives with her family in Tehran.
