PASCH Activites
in India
For PASCH students
One of the highlights are the PASCH Youth Courses, where motivated students spend three weeks in Germany enhancing their language skills, experiencing intercultural exchange, and gaining first-hand insights into life in the country.
Initiatives such as the KIKUK competition (Artificial Intelligence – Creative and Critical) promote creative and critical engagement with the German language. PASCH students strengthen their digital skills while simultaneously exploring the use of artificial intelligence in a creative and reflective way.
Local and regional PASCH events bring together students from different South Asian countries to exchange ideas and collaborate on joint projects.
Discovering and expanding new horizons together – that is the mission of the student blog PASCHorizonte. Several times a year, PASCH students are invited to take part in writing or art competitions on current topics by submitting their own blog contributions. The most outstanding entries are selected, edited by the South Asia editorial team and subsequently published on Instagram.
For PASCH teachers
A key element of teacher qualification is Deutsch Lehren Lernen® (DLL), the Goethe‑Institut’s internationally recognised training programme for German as a foreign and second language teachers.
PASCH facilitates participation in international conferences and trainings such as the International German Teachers’ Conference (IDT) as well as German teachers’ conferences held at various locations in South Asia. These events are organised in close cooperation with the local German teachers’ associations and foster professional networking within the South Asia region.
The Deutschstunde portal offers teachers free access to premium teaching materials, professional development programs, and a global network dedicated to German as a foreign and second language.
The Boto‑Bande makes learning tangible for children and fosters early enthusiasm for language, knowledge, and cultural diversity. Using age‑appropriate, research‑based materials for children aged 3–11, it turns learning German into a playful experience within an engaging learning environment that supports long‑term development.
For PASCH Alumni
Alumni play an important role as multipliers and role models: they share their experiences of studying, training and working with German and support younger PASCH students in their orientation and decision‑making processes.
Alumni are involved in regional projects, events, and programmes for career and study orientation, thereby strengthening the sustainable impact of PASCH in South Asia.
For PASCH School Principals
Through local and regional exchange formats, school leaders have the opportunity to network with colleagues from South Asia, explore examples of good practice, and gain new impulses for school cooperation and exchange projects.
