Kerala Literature Festival (KLF) 2026 invite
ONE writer to the
Vagamon Writers Residency. Germany is the guest nation at KLF 2026.
Applications are invited from emerging and established writers living and working in Germany, fluent in both
German and English.
The Vagamon Writers Residency runs for three weeks, from
4 January to
25 January 2026. Accomodation, travel and visa costs will be covered.
The start and the end of the Residency are fixed and cannot be negotiated. The selected candidate will spend
22 January to 25 January 2026 in
Kozhikode at the
Kerala Literature Festival 2026.
Please submit the following documents:
- Informal letter of motivation describing your work plans during the residency (in German, max. 1 page)
- Curriculum vitae with contact details and list of previous publications
- Letter of reference (optional)
- Writing sample (optional, max. 10 pages)
