Mohit Mahato is a Bangalore-based visual artist and co-founder of Pagal Canvas, an independent, non-profit collective for visual publications that publishes zines, art books, comics and graphic novels. Mohit's work is heavily inspired by nature. For many years, he has been collecting fallen flowers and seed pods on the streets of Bangalore and during his travels. What began as a simple act of curiosity slowly evolved into a way of observing and capturing nature. Drawing these flowers and eventually translating them into zines became a way for him to preserve not only the form of the flower, but also the fleeting thoughts and emotions associated with the moment of its discovery.

He recently had his solo exhibition Bring Me Flowers at Sumukha Gallery (2025).
