The assessment test enables us to find out what previous knowledge you have, define a learing objective with you and help you select an appropriate course.
Minimum age: 10 years
Students having prior knowledge of German and desiring to join a higher-level course or students with a gap of more than six months from their last Goethe-Examination have to take the level test prior to the registration. Placement in higher course levels is based on the result of the level test conducted.

Time-lapse since last Goethe-Institut International Examination or Entrance Exam conducted by Goethe-Institut:
0–6 Months - Need not take up the level test,
7–24 Months and more than 24 Months - Level test is Compulsory.
