The Goethe-Institut / Max Mueller Bhavan Chennai is located in the northern centre of the city off Nungambakkan High Road.
From Mahatma Gandhi Road (also named Nungambakkam High Road), turn into Khader Nawaz Khan diagonally opposite to Taj Coromandel Hotel. Follow Khader Nawaz Khan and the right turn to a crossing. You see the Moevenpick restaurant on the other roadside; make a right turn into Rutland Gate and the second building on the right is the Goethe-Institut.
From Anna Salai (also named Mount Road) turn into the first street on the left (after a big gas station). Follow the small street to a crossing. When you see the Moevenpick restaurant on the right side, make a left turn into Rutland Gate. The second building on the right is the Goethe-Institut.
