Group Visits

The library offers visits for school classes, German language courses, student groups and other institutions upon appointment.

Please note: Due to planned library renovations from mid-November 2025 until approximately March 2026, the library visits will not be available during this period.

Visits for Schools

School classes from eighth grade onwards who are learning German are warmly invited to visit the library at the Goethe-Institut / Max Mueller Bhavan New Delhi and experience direct contact with Germany and the German language.

During this visit, we introduce the students to the Goethe-Institut and the library, play games or conduct a quiz, and explore the library’s materials and offerings together. The maximum size for the groups is up to 35 students. School visits are available from Tuesday to Friday during mornings.

Visits for other groups

The library offers library visits for German language courses and student groups as well as for interested institutions. We inform about our collection and services, the utilization of our eLibrary and we introduce to the Goethe-Institut and its activities.

Library visits are free of charge and can be conducted either in German or in English.
