I am my Muse: Self Portrait Workshop and Image Creation

Friday, 11 and Saturday, 12 April 2025, 11:00-18:00 both days.

The artists of Aravani Art Project will lead a participatory art workshop on self-portraits at the Empowerment exhibition. 

Aravani Art Project is a Trans-women and cis-women led art collective. Aravani advocates the idea of reclaiming spaces in this world by creating different art projects to raise awareness and to create a voice for the community. Their work is visible and can be seen across the country from Delhi, Kolkata, Mumbai to Chennai and Bangalore. They were most recently invited to participate at the Venice Biennale where they created a larger than life permanent mural.
