For Clemens, a newly certified massage therapist, the first day on the job at a luxury hotel and spa on the Baltic coast is somewhat of a shock for the polite, reserved introvert. His initial run-in with the attractive, outspoken and brash trainee cook, Lana (Cooper) is somewhat uneventful—she barely notices him.
Both have their own ways: Clemens follows the rules and seeks peace and quiet, while Lana lives by her own rules, struggling to prove herself in the kitchen, but always looking to blow off steam. This mis-matched duo slowly begins to grow on each other, as Lara challenges Clemens to come out of his shell and follow her lead on her late-night adventures, even if it means risking his job.
As the unlikely couple falls deeper in love, their differences become more and more apparent, but will their determination to make their relationship work ultimately tear them apart, both emotionally and physical?
