Zweite Ausgabe von RIFE in Smolyan
Rhodope International Documentary Film Festival (RIFE) kehrt im Sommer 2022 mit einer zweiten Ausgabe nach Smolyan zurück. Vier Tage mit internationalen Wettbewerben, Workshops, Diskussionen und Vorführungen erwarten uns im Herzen der Rhodopen.
Das Festival, das vom Goethe-Institut Bulgarien mitbegründet wurde, bietet dem Publikum Filme aus Deutschland, der Türkei, der Ukraine, Griechenland, Israel, Österreich, Bulgarien und anderen Ländern.
Mehr als 700 Filme wurden für den Wettbewerb eingereicht, aber nach der Auswahl werden nur etwa 30 Filme gezeigt. Die Jurymitglieder in diesem Jahr sind
Jackie Stoev (Bulgarien),
Valeska Grisebach (Deutschland) und
Wladimir Kaminer (Deutschland).
An den letzten beiden Tagen des RIFE 2022, dem 11. und 12. Juli, werden als Geste an die Bürger*innen und Gäste von Smolyan neue bulgarische Dokumentarfilme gezeigt, die nicht im Wettbewerbsprogramm sind.
