EU4Dialogue The Blue of High Zeniths

The multicomponent EU4Dialogue project supports initiatives fostering an environment of dialogue and people-to-people contacts across the divide in the South Caucasus and the Republic of Moldova. It is financed by the European Union, running from May 2021 to April 2025. EU4Dialogue – Component 3: Improving Exchanges Across Divide Through Education and Culture is led by the DAAD Georgia. The main goal of the Goethe-Institut’s activities within the project is to foster collaboration between artists and cultural managers and to build networks between the artistic communities throughout the region.

Goethe-Institut Activities

Within EU4Dialogue the Goethe-Institut focuses on cultural and artistic exchange with trainings (Cultural Management Academies) and possibilities for interregional collaboration in the form of residencies. Over the course of the project, seven Cultural Management Academies as well as more than 25 cross-border projects within the Residency Programme will be organised. The Goethe-Institut makes use of its own network with the institutes in Bucharest and Tbilisi as well as its centres in Yerevan and Baku. Together with the German Archaeological Institute, the Goethe-Institut co-organizes archaeological conferences and seminars, designed to build a monument register throughout the South Caucasus.
