Step 1: Are you already a member of the library?

You can inform yourself about the Terms and conditions on our Website. The Library Team would also be glad to inform you when you visit us personally. If you are already a member of the library, you can continue directly from Step 2.

Step 2: Have you already logged on to Mein Goethe.de?

If you haven´t yet logged on to Mein Goethe.de, you can easily create an account online now. You have to use your account information of Mein Goethe.de to log in to Online-Catalogue. Furthermore you can use Mein Goethe.de to use all other personalized Online-Applications offered by Goethe-Institut in the area of language, culture and library. If you have already signed up for Mein Goethe.de, you need not do it again. Please continue directly from Step 3.

Step 3: Let’s activate your account!

The Library Team needs to know your e-mail ID, with which you have signed up for Mein Goethe.de. Please fill in the enrollment form and send it to the library. After you have sent the form, the Library Team will inform you as soon as your account for the Online-Catalogue is activated. Usually the activation is done within two working days.

Sign-in to Online-Catalogue of the Library

You can browse through the media in the Online-Catalogue (OPAC) of our library round the clock, to get an overview of books, CDs, DVDs, Magazines and Electronic resources available with us.

If you are a member of the library, you can log in to the Online-Catalogue using your account information. The personalized application of OPAC offers the following facilities:

Display of items borrowed by you along with due dates.
Extension of lending period.
A glimpse of dues and paid fees.
Forwarding your acquisition request for media stock of the library.
Commenting on Media.
An overview of media borrowed by you previously.
