The Making and display of ‘Self Portraits’ take us into our inner world dwelling on identity, mood and feeling rather than just focus on our physical selves.
Aravani Art Project is a trans and cis women–led art collective that creates collaborative spaces for members of the transgender community to engage in artistic work. Through commissioned projects executed by trained transgender artists, the collective advocates for greater visibility and acceptance of the LGBTQIA+ community by reclaiming public spaces through art.
