The Sasha Waltz & Guests is Berlin’s most important institution for contemporary dance, and has become known for its grand productions and phenomenal choreographic works in empty spaces. Stage elements and spatial design contribute to lending expression to the choreographies of a unique, artistic approach and form. On the occasion of 30 Years of Sasha Waltz & Guests, we bring this uniquely curated exhibition based on Engage | Experience | Evolve
Apart from the 30 years long and fruitful career of Sasha Waltz, the exhibition gives us a possibility to dive into her artist process, profound projects like Dialogue, Zu Hoeren and her vision to have a better future through the Children's Dance Company and the In C Project.
The occasion also is to present her work in an entirely new context especially in Pune for the very active dance community. Embedded in the context of the museum, this exhibition offers audiences the unique opportunity to experience the visual-aesthetic dimension of the choreographic works by Sasha Waltz.
During the entire duration of the exhibition there will be engaging workshops offered to various groups of individuals, giving them a small taste to Engage | Experience | Evolve!
