Science Film Festival 2025

The Science Film Festival brings science to your screen in ways that are entertaining, creative, exciting, and enriching! In cooperation with local partners it promotes science literacy and facilitates awareness of contemporary scientific, technological and environmental issues through international films with accompanying educational activities. The The event has grown considerably since its first edition in 2005, becoming the largest event of its kind worldwide.

The Science Film Festival 2025 takes place internationally from 1st October to 20th December 2025.

THEME OF THE YEAR 2025: GREEN JOBS

The Science Film Festival focuses on Green Jobs in 2025, highlighting professions that are essential in promoting and preserving the environment. Green jobs provide young people with an opportunity to not only create a meaningful impact on the world, but also build a sustainable career.
Given the global focus on sustainability and eco-friendly practices continues to grow, the significance of green jobs stands at the forefront of the crucial worldwide shift towards a low-carbon economy.
