Wunderbar Together - Deutschland und die U.S.A.

FROM GERMANY TO LA presented an unmissable celebration of electronic sounds and visuals, delivered by a diverse lineup of DJs and performers from Germany and Los Angeles on Friday, October 5th at The Echo + Echoplex, and Saturday, October 6th at The Globe Theatre.

Part of the opening week for a year-long series of events with the Year of German-American Friendship 2018/19 - Deutschlandjahr 2018/19, FROM GERMANY TO LA brought together eclectic communities from both sides of the pond for two nights of cultural discovery and experience, two nights of house music, techno, and electronica, skillfully combined with contemporary visual art. Stunning visual enhancement came from Cloaking, presenting 3D mapping and lighting, plus projections by Lisa Wassmann and Valquire Veljkovic. Festival artwork was designed by illustrator Opashona Ghosh (Kolkata/London/Berlin) and Tom Singier (Paris/Berlin), founder of Serigraffeur Galerie.
