Encounters - "How do you think it feels?" aims to harness the transformative power of contemporary dance to address social isolation as a global experience accentuated by the Corona-Pandemic and to give a voice to resulting issues of mental health.

This unique international choreographic co-production involves the artists Ny&Khun of New Cambodian Artists in Phnom Penh, the Munich-based dance development company ExisTanz, the British dance development organisation Dance United Yorkshire and the Dutch theatre company I23/Lange Mannen. The partners are brought together by their shared vision to develop a universal artistic language of connection, conviviality and community across continents.

The resulting repertoire will engage a diverse audience in an artistic conversation about social isolation and forms the basis for an empowering engagement model with socially isolated communities.
