MO+/Melva Carolina Olivas Durazo (Mexico), Stegreif.orchester/Viola Schmitzer (Germany), Centro de las Artes de San Luis Potosí (Mexico)

In 2018, the Streifreif.orchester is developing its own interpretation of Johannes Brahms’s Third Symphony. In cooperation with four musicians from the Stegreif.orchester and a Mexican folk musician, the Mexican dance company Mo+ will transform the musical themes and motifs into an independent, intercultural production that combines dance, performance and music. It focuses on questions about home and distance, certainty and doubt, the idyllic and the uncanny.
