- Applications are open to German and Indian citizens living and working in India.
- The project may be in any Indian language including English, or German.
- In case of digital projects, the final work can be recorded and does not necessarily have to be performed or shared with a live audience
- Proposals for the dissemination or performance of existing physical/digital performances are not eligible. If you are adapting an existing work for another medium please do outline how and why.
- The work cannot be a film or audio recording of an existing performance by the individual or group
- The projects must be realised by September 2022. Projects will be assigned performance dates between September and December 2022.
Three projects will be selected by an independent jury. Goethe Institut/Max Mueller Bhavan will offer the selected projects the following:
- A grant of INR 75000 towards the realisation of the project.
- Hosting of the final performances at Siddhartha Hall, Goethe-Institut/ Max Mueller Bhavan, New Delhi or, in the case of digital work, on the website of the Goethe- Institut/ Max Mueller Bhavan alongside any other platforms that the artist chooses.
