15.12.2023 | Goethe-Institut Kolkata 3 Tage in Quiberon

Director: Emily Atef
2017, b/w, 115 minutes

The conventional German cinema of the 1950s was not conducive to the creation of international film stars, although the Austrian-born Romy Schneider was one of the rare exceptions. She spoke about her problems in 1981 in an interview with the Stern magazine reporter Michael Jürgs – an event that the director Emily Atef has recreated using a top-notch cast and fictional embellishments.
