Do you have a broken appliance, torn clothing, or a stopped watch? Don’t throw it away — bring it to our Repair Café! This is a free, community-driven event where skilled repair experts help you repair everyday items and discover creative ways to reuse and upcycle.

What Happens at the Repair Café?

At our Repair Café, we bring people together to fix things instead of discarding them. Whether it's a faulty lamp, a ripped jacket or a torn book, our team of repair experts are here to help.

Repair Stations & Categories

Bookbinding – Fix torn pages and damaged book covers
Tailoring – Mend clothing, repair zippers, and sew patches
Cobbler – Repair shoes, belts, and leather goods
Watches – Battery replacements and minor watch repairs
Electronics – Fix small household appliances and gadgets
Toys – Repair stuffed animals, dolls, and electronic toys
Umbrellas (Available on selected dates) – Fix broken frames and torn fabric

What If My Electronics Can’t Be Fixed?

If your electronic item is beyond repair, don’t worry! You can dispose of it responsibly at our E-Waste Collection Point at our institute available all days. Proper recycling of electronic waste helps prevent harmful materials from ending up in landfills and supports environmental sustainability.

Who Can Join?

The Repair Café is open to everyone! Whether you have an item that needs fixing or have skills to share, you’re welcome to join with a complimentary tea or coffee. Just bring your item and your enthusiasm!
