PUBLIC RELATIONS OFFICER AT THE GOETHE-INSTITUT PUNE
We are seeking a dedicated colleague to start on June 1, 2026 (initially for a fixed term of two years); full-time position, compensation in accordance with the local pay scale
The Goethe-Institut is the Federal Republic of Germany’s cultural institute active worldwide. We are committed to fostering understanding between Germany, Europe, and the world. Here’s what you can expect:
- You will coordinate the Goethe-Institut Pune’s public relations activities across all media (online, print) in consultation with our departments and the institute’s management.
- You will develop content concepts and oversee their production (graphics/design, editorial processes, and content management systems) for our website and social media channels, including monitoring user engagement.
- You will support the creation of marketing content and assist in its production and publication.
- You will actively contribute to maintaining and expanding our public relations contact network.
- You will oversee contracts with service providers (e.g., graphic design, printing).
- You will manage the Institute’s multimedia database.
- You have successfully completed a college degree.
- You have excellent language skills in German (B1), English, Marathi, and Hindi.
- You are highly proficient in public relations processes and technologies (graphic design, editing, typesetting, content management, and user community management).
- You enjoy working independently and across disciplines; your approach to work is structured; you have a knack for organization.
- If required, you hold a residence and work permit for India.
