Introducing the platform
Club Sessions
In these first three sessions of the Kinderuni Club the children are introduced to basic greeting words in German, as well as key science words. Through the introductory video they will meet Frau Schlau and Professor Einstein, the two main Kinderuni characters. The science theme for these sessions is shell sounds. In the third session, the children explore the topic independently on the platform, solve tasks and collect rewards.
In this unit, the children explore the scientific topic of Braille. They learn the German alphabet and explore the letters.
The third unit focuses on graffiti. The children learn the colors in German.
This unit is all about measurement. The children learn how to measure the width of a river and learn numbers in German.
The scientific topic of the fifth unit is shadow play. The children understand how shadows work and learn to name animals in German.
In this sixth unit, the children learn about the red wood ant. They learn to describe their favourite animal and create their own profile.
In this seventh unit, students learn all about spiders. They also learn how to name their body parts in German.
In this eighth unit, students learn how an autopilot works. They also learn how to give directions in German.
In this ninth session, the pupils will learn how a 3D printer works. They can describe objects in German.
