Documentare avvicinandosi con rispetto
Con il documentarista Maik Reichert e il fotoreporter Gaetano Di Filippo. Modera Chiara Sambuchi, documentarista.

Maik Reichert
Maik Reichert is a freelance photographer and film maker based in Berlin, Germany. For more than 10 years, he has been working on projects worldwide which explore different cultures and thus different perspectives on our lives. Learning from these encounters enriches his life. Through sharing his documentaries he tries to inspire new ways of thinking. His film portrait Photo: OSTKREUZ about the famous German photographers’ agency OSTKREUZ was selected for the documentary competition of Achtung Berlin Film Festival in 2015 and was shown during the anniversary exhibition 25 years OSTKREUZ of C/O Berlin. It was released for cinemas, national and international TV, in-flight entertainment and is now available on DVD and as online streaming. Since 2016 he has been photographing mainly Syrian classical musicians e.g. Kinan Azmeh in German concert halls such as Elbphilharmonie Hamburg, Pierre-Boulez-Saal Berlin, Konzerthaus Berlin and in North Africa. In 2017 he teamed up with Matthias Stäheli from his collective KUKUKK Berlin to start filming Berlin meets Colombia – A coffee travel story. The documentary is about the coffee production inside the “Eje cafetero”, the Colombian coffee growing axis, and was released in 2018. For May 2018 he has been invited to be artist in residence by the Goethe-Institut in Rome.Gaetano De Filippo
