Training and continuing education seminars for German teachers are offered at the 13 Goethe-Instituts in Germany and at other seminar locations. Our approx. 90 continuing education courses and seminars offer you the opportunity to update your knowledge about Germany and its people and to arrive at your own balanced image of Germany. At the same time, you will exchange ideas with people of different nationalities and improve your language skills.

Our continuing education programs are intended mainly for teachers of German as a foreign language from outside Germany, but also for journalists, artists and individuals in other fields with an interest in the German language and culture.
- Approximately 150 academically qualified and highly motivated trainers with intercultural competencies assemble a program covering Landeskunde (i.e. Germany, its people and culture), methodology and didactics for German as a foreign language as well as didactics for teacher training and continuing education, taking your needs and wishes into account.
- We will inform you about current research and discussions in your selected subject area.
